About New Life

Our Mission

New Life Church exists to lead people from where they are to where God is calling them.

The New Life Nine

The New Life Nine are nine values we use as a church to keep us on track in being the church God has called us to be.

Jesus: Is Our Message

The priority of New Life Church is to share the story of Jesus. We believe the hope found in a relationship with Jesus changes everything. Methods will come and go, but our message will remain the same… Jesus.

People: Are Our Passion

Jesus loves people, and so we love people. We make no apologies for being specifically focused on reaching those far from God. We desire to bring the broken home at all costs. We will always pursue people with passion.

Community: Is Our Calling

We believe life is better in community. Connection is a powerful thing, and our hope is to provide avenues for you to find connections through community at New Life.

Generosity: Is Our Privilege

Generosity is about giving more than is required. We believe generosity is an opportunity rather than an obligation. We’re generous with our time, talents and treasure. We go first in our giving. God has given richly towards us, it’s our privilege to give back to Him.

Honor: Is our Default

Honor is never silent. We honor one another and value the people around us. We choose joyfully to submit to those God has placed over us. We honor and care for those God has placed under us.

Serving: Is who we are

Saved people serve people. We follow the example Christ gave us that we are here not to be served but to serve. If you are to big to serve than you are too small to lead. From the parking lot to the pulpit, everyone serves. Every role is different but they are all important.

Excellence:Is Our Spirit

We are always going to do the best with what we have. We’re on time, engaged and prepared. We don’t do things half way. If we’re gonna do it, it’s to the best of our ability.

Faith: Is our Posture

We will be a church that always chooses the faith journey over the safe journey. We will remain mobile in pursuing the purpose God is calling us to.

Celebration: Is Our ReSponse

We believe the gospel and life change is worth celebrating every chance we get. We will celebrate loud and celebrate often.

Your New Life Begins Here.

Wherever you are in life, you matter and you have a purpose. Your journey has a next step, and we’ll help you find it. We want to help you become the person God has created you to be. It could start with serving, finding God’s vision for your life, giving, or joining us regularly.

You don’t have to take the next step alone. With a strong community of friends, you can laugh, grow, and serve with people who genuinely care about you.

Our Beliefs

THE BIBLE

The Bible is God’s Word to all people. It is written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. Because God inspired it, the Bible is truth without any error and is completely relevant in our daily lives.

Deuteronomy 4:1-2; Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 22:29; John 5:39;

Salvation

The blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only way of salvation through the forgiveness of sin. Salvation is a gift from God and it cannot be earned through our own efforts.

Isaiah 1:18; 53:5-6; 55:7; Matthew 1:21; 27:22-66, 28:1-6; Luke 1:68-69;

The Church

The Church is a local community of believers unified through faith in Christ. We are committed to the teachings of Christ, to obey all of His commands, and to bring the Gospel to the world. The Church works together in love and unity, intent on the ultimate purpose of glorifying Christ.

Matthew 16:18-19; 18:15-20; Acts 2:41-47; 5:11-14; 1 Corinthians 7:17; 9:13-14;

Baptism

Baptism is a symbolic act to publicly profess one’s salvation. God commands it, but our salvation does not rely upon it. We practice full-immersion baptism, symbolizing the process of death and resurrection that Jesus went through for us.

Matt. 28:19-20, I Cor. 11:23-24

The Trinity

God has existed in a relationship with himself for all eternity. He exists as one substance in three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. Although each member of the Trinity serves different functions, they each possess equal power and authority.

Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 61:1; Matthew 28:19; Mark 1:9-11; Luke 1:35;

The Father

God is great. He is powerful, all-knowing, ever-present, unchanging, and above all, He is holy. God is good. He is our father. He is loving, compassionate, and faithful to his people and promises.

Exodus 3:14; Numbers 23:19; Leviticus 11:44-45; 19:2; Psalm 11:4-6;

The SON

Jesus Christ is completely human, but at the same time completely God. He lived a sinless life so that He could be a substitute for us in satisfying God’s demands for perfection. He defeated death in His resurrection so that we could have life.

Isaiah 7:14; 53; Matthew 1:18-23; 3:17; 8:29; Luke 22:70; 24:46-47; John 1:1,

The Holy Spirit

His presence assures us of a relationship with Christ. He guides believers into all truth and exalts Christ. He convicts people of their sins, God’s righteousness, and the coming judgment. He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and makes us more like Christ.

Genesis 1:2; Psalm 51:11; Isaiah 61:1-3; Joel 2:28-32; Mark 1:10;

Prayer

Prayer is our ability to communicate with God. Through Jesus’ salvation, we no longer need an intercessor to go between God and us; we can address Him directly.

Peter 2:5; Rev. 1:6; Matthew 6:9-13

Keith Waller
